MaPS hires chief operations officer
SALEM — Kevin Cole has been hired as chief operations officer of MaPS Credit Union. He replaces Mark Zook, who will become chief executive officer in January after Dan Penn retires. Cole will oversee branch operations, electronic delivery and finance.

Maps for commercial projects up for review
Maps for pending commercial developments are up for review at the Bakersfield Planning Commission meeting Thursday night. Those maps include: * An addition to the Gosford Village Shopping Center, on the west side of Gosford Road, north of Harris Road. This map covers 31 acres of a 74-acre site, and will be broken into 15 parcels.
